They're not really.  But they are natural pearls that have been dyed into really spectacular colors.  Each necklace is hand-crocheted and finished with a faceted crystal.  You can adjust it to wear the crystal in front (just pull it through the loop), or wear it at full length.  Which is about 16 1/2".  Also available in 32" length.
