Encased in Lucite, these Real Dead Bugs Necklaces are perfect for the little guy around the house.  I originally found them while on my trip to Thailand a few years back, then I just found them again while cleaning up the Studio.  (Oh, you wouldn't believe what I have stashed away!)

Each Real Dead Bug is different than the other.  I mean, just like people, no two are ever alike, except that some bugs are the same species as the other, but since they are really real, no two are alike.  So, each Real Dead Bug is different...

Created with hand-knotted dark brown leather, each is finished with an antique vegetable ivory button.  Vegetable Ivory buttons are pretty unique themselves. They were carved from nuts of Central and South American rain forests back in the late 1800's.  I've had them for quite some time (another of my stashes) and they've become pretty rare these days.

Necklaces measure about 12"-15".
